People are living a lot longer now and taking care of our brains and cognitive health can make the difference between merely living long and living well. Ayurveda, which originates from India, has a treasure chest of self-care, dietary and herbal therapies to maintain and strengthen our brain and cognitive health. In India, where it still functions as the cultural bedrock of preventative medicine and “kitchen wisdom” they enjoy some of lowest rates of Alzheimers/dementia in the world. This  event will feature Scott Blossom, who has practiced Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine for 20 years, discussing practical and accessible ways that we can care for this precious internal organ.

Scott Blossom is a Traditional Chinese Medical practitioner,  Yoga teacher & Ayurvedic Consultant. He has been studying yoga since 1990 and teaching since 1997.
